Overheight Vehicle Detection and Warning Systems |

Trigg Industries manufactures complete Overheight Vehicle Detection and Warning systems (OVDS), including height detectors, warning signs, alarm bells, mounting poles and all needed accessories. We offer technical options to meet virtually any overheight warning requirement.
Our overheight detectors are motion sensors and vehicle sensors that can help you with your traffic control and traffic management needs. Our detectors come in different configurations, including double-eye Z-Pattern®, red infrared, infrared and visible red. We manufacture variable message warning traffic signs (message signs) that use led displays to warn drivers of approaching overheight conditions, i.e. low bridges or overpasses. We also provide siren horns, alarm bells, to attract attention and notify drivers of the approaching overheight hazard.
Trigg Industries has been manufacturing height detectors since 1965. |

Since 1967, Trigg Industries has been supplying Traffic Engineering Products for the traffic counting community. Our full line of traffic counting supplies is the industry standard and our east and west coast locations provide the quickest delivery times.
Trigg Industries provides road tube, road tube conectors, road tube end plugs, traffic counter air switch, road tube grips, road tube clamps including Chinese Fingers™, Figure 8, C-Clamp, Plate Clamps and Polyweb Grip. We also carry Polyken tape, Bituthane tape, hardened steel nails, Parker Kalon PK masonry nails and spikes for securing road tube. Other Traffic Engineering Products include Blue Chrome chain and American padlocks to secure your traffic counter, Powersonic battery chargers and DigiRoller Plus II measuring wheel.
We have an aggressive pricing policy on piezoelectric sensors. Piezoelectric Roadtrax 'Brass Linguini' Axle Sensor. The Roadtrax BL Traffic Sensor is designed for Permanent or Temporary installation into or onto the road surface for the collection of traffic data. The unique construction of the sensor allows it to be installed into the road in a flexible format so that it can conform to the profile of the road. The flat construction of the sensor gives an inherent rejection of road noise due to road bending, adjacent lanes and bow waves for approaching vehicles. The small cut in the road minimizes the damage that is done to the road, speeds up the installation and reduces the amount of epoxy that is used for the installation. The Roadtrax BL sensor is available both as a Class I sensor for the highest level of uniformity needed for Weigh in Motion applications and as a Class II sensor which is more cost effective for Counting, Classifying, High speed Toll Booths, Speed Detection and Red Light Cameras.
To secure your piezoelectric sensors, we supply TDC Joint Seal which is a polyurea sealant grout and caulk guns to apply the grout.
